A few recent bears …
Here are a few of the bears I recently created for the Stratford Show which have now found new homes, so I thought I would share them with you!
I am now working on my new collection for the forthcoming Hugglets Teddies 2010 show in September.

Marina approx 19in. Created from ivory alpaca, and the most amazing aqua coloured hand dyed Schulte mohair! Something quite different for me and I’m delighted with her!!

Bellamy approx 18ins – A lovely chunky boy made from vanilla alpaca/mohair and a beautiful tipped wavy Schulte mohair.

Maya approx 16ins. A very pretty dainty girl, created from my favorite ivory dense alpaca!

Melodie approx 18ins. My favorite colours again! Alpaca and a wonderful dense wavy Schulte mohair have been blended together to create this gorgeous girl! She even has some of my handmade little felt flowers, adorning her collar… she was such a joy to create!

Demsey approx 16ins – A real cutie, made from luxurious dense tipped alpaca, in a soft grey with a brown tip…really unusual!

A few bears from the Winter Bearfest…
I thought you would like to see a few of the bears that I have been working on over the last few months and have now found new homes.

(From Left) Tiffany, Clementine and Rosanna
With spring in mind, I decided to create a trio of pretty girl bears, in the most wonderful colours of lilac, pink, and lemon, they really cheered me, making them in the depths of winter, hope they bring a smile to your face too!

Rocky (above)
In contrast I also have a few boys, Rocky being a large chunky bear made in the most wonderful, dense luxurious Schulte mohair, difficult to photograph, but I am so pleased with him, his proportions, and profile remind me of those gorgeous black Canadian bears, hence his name!

Orson (above)
Then I have Orson made in my favourite dense vanilla alpaca, very tactile, and so chubby and handsome!

Brody
And lastly Brody created from such fabulous dense golden kid mohair, more traditional in looks with (I think) the sweetest expression!
